Today was my son's last day of school-yay and ugh! Yay for being able to sleep in a little later, but ugh, for having to work all summer while he's off. My previous job I had summers off, but what will I be doing now?!?!? work, work, work!
Oh well, this'll just give me the motivation to plan some weekend roadtrips to get to know Texas better and hopefully see some of Arkansas and Louisiana.
Where do we go first??? San Antonio, Galveston, Corpus Christi? Does anyone have any suggestions?
All of the above would be nice, but with the hours my husband works, we'll be happy to get one weekend trip in this summer, oy vey!
Gotta love recruiting duty! ;)

there's a lot to do in this area - the beach in galveston, plus all the shops and historic sites. then on my side (the clear lake/kemah/league city part), more water, shops, historic sites...
